I've been advised I've over exposed again, and the focus looks out.

Still an amateur, I started the hobby last January, so I've still got a lot to learn.

I find it really diffucult to focus manually with a camera live view lcd screen, especially as mars only shows up as a faint dot on the LCD display.

Catching Mars with any detail has been virtually impossible for me even without the camera. I have yet to distinguish the ice caps! It's rather frustrating!

hi Isabelle, long time no see, yeah ive seen mars very disappointed just a orange blob no detail even had various filters on even on, with a maksutov 1250mm x 9mm e.p! yours Paul.

yep same here 90mm 1250 fl mak x 9mm x 2 barlow still no detail!!
