Default Hi everyone - 9th July 2009, 06:34 PM

I'm new to the site and wanted to say Hi. I'm currently looking to place an advert under the wanted section for an Nexstar 8SE/8i but need my 10 posts

I actually had an ETX 90, Nexstar 8i + GPS module and a CPC but I made the mistake of keeping the CPC and selling the rest. Alas, its' heavy weight and slow slewing resulted in me using it less and less so I sold it. I'm looking to go back to the middle ground and will hopefully get a 8SE or 8i. I might be tempted by a great value 6SE but I'd fear the upgrade curse if I did.

Clear Skies all.

Hi Seiko,

Welcome to SGL. You have my sympathy regarding your dilemma - a stressful time. You are right about upgrades - aperture fever is a terrible affliction.

With a user name of Seiko, I guess you'll take your time coming to a decision.
