A joint imaging effort with Andromeda1 from last night.

Modified canon 350D, WO 72, SW FF, SW LP filter, ATP.

CG5-GT, guided ST80, Meade DSI, PHD.

8 off 10min subs, 30 flats, 30 bias.

Stacked in DSS but almost impossible to do anything in CS3 due to sunlight on the netbook screen, couldn't find a shadow to sit in and drew the line at crawling under the caravan.

Fantastic image, I'm still amazed at the amount of stuff visible from down here.

On my laptop mate there is a massive gradient on the left hand side that all but obliterates the image out? Is it just me?

Loads of stars and the nebula is visible but as Matt says a nasty gradient on the left. Better crawl under that caravan or wait till dark

nice one Noel, the light from the side should be sorted once processed properly with cs3, look forward to the final result.
