C8 and Fastar Compatibility

Anyone any idea how I can tell whether or not my C8 is fastar compatible?

I've checked the secondary under the cove no indication.

It is the older Black tube version made in the USA

If the C8 is the older version sold as a Deluxe model it should be fastar compatible.This model is beefier than the standard C8,and comes equipped with proper gears and PEC error guiding.I am assuming the optical tube is still in its fork mount,if not and its just the tube assembly,someone else may be able to help.

If there is an outer ring that can be unscrewed that holds the secondary in place, its probably Fastar/Hyperstar compatible. If there isnt a ring, it certainly isnt.
