November Weather Reason

Just in case anybody wonders why we have been seeing this weather ... i ordered my new eyepiece on nov 2nd !

And no, i could not use it yet!

I have the 24mm 68 degree Maxvision which seems a good quality eyepiece for it's cost.

I've just got a new eyepiece too, so I've probably just added another 2 weeks of rain. sorry folks.

I have the 28mm in the Meade flavour, and it is very good. I doubt if you will be disappointed. I wouldn't be too harsh on yourself about the weather, for the amount of rain, wind (and a bit of snow) we've had this past month, I think someone, somewhere has set up a large new observatory from scratch.

I very much enjoy using my 16mm Maxvision. Quality peice to look at as well as look through.

I had all of this range dressed up in the Meade green swimming trunks, they are very good eyepieces though i paid over a 1000 pounds for them and have now sold them on losing a lot of cash as the MaxVision version of them hit the streets.

I did find them wanting at F5.26 at the very edges but that was comparing them to Televue which is harsh but necessary, for what they cost now they are a steal. The bank account diet is water under the bridge, I do hope things clear up so you can use it and I hope it is soon!

The only clear skies i've had since the start of November have been two 20 minute sessions at 2am - literally nothing else.

I have the same eyepiece in the ES version. It is my joint favourite along with my Meade 4000 14mm UWA 84. Both real hand grenades but beautifully built.
