hi guys ive been very inactive for the last year and just having a tidy out of the obs with a view to cracking on this winter. Ive a couple of bits i want to put in the classified but have no real idea of second hand value. Can anyone help point me in the right direction? Ive a televue 5x powermate and a swa 70-22 wide angle 2" eyepiece both in mint condition and boxed. If any one can help with a value i would be grateful as i would like to offer them here first before fleabay.

a  5X powermate was recently sold on ABS for £110-120 I think, it was sold as 'in good condition'. The SWA 70-22- sorry I have no idea, hope this helps a bit.

A good guide is 50% to 65% of the new price depending on age, condition, working order, and any flaws or scratches. You may get a little more for them if they are only 3 or 4mths old, little used, and still in pristine nick. Hth

As above really. I usually use around 60% of the new value for something in excellent condition as a benchmark. Rare or sought after items might fetch a little more.
