Evening everyone!

I've been a very good boy this year so I've written to the big man and I have it on good authority I'm getting  a Televue Nagler type 6 13mm eyepiece to celebrate this most special of periods in the year (Black Friday).

I love my TV eyepieces as you may know from my previous posts and have long sought a Nagler. The 13mm will be perfect for my Mak with its long focal length and judging by the reviews I'm looking forward to seeing some crips views of Jupiter and Mars.

Probably best apologise now for the weather, since I built my observatory I've never seen such biblical rainfall in Churwell so this purchase will only compound things.

Very nice indeed. My first Nagler was the 22T4. That is an AWESOME EP. Many other Naglers have followed since.

My Mrs can't decide what to get me this Year, and Tele Vue's are not top of her list, so I aquired my own recently.

Its still untested, due to the weather, a Delos 6mm.

If it satisfies, possibly two more will join the collection?

I love my Nagler (16mm T5), definitely a contender.

Congratulations, it is a very nice eyepiece it will not disappoint, I had one a while back before I had the Ethos, the T6 range is so small for the 82 degree FOV when you look at other brands and they are parfocal with each other.

The 13T6 was my first TV EP - it has been a great buy, and gets continuous use in both of my scopes many years on. I love the 82* afov - just works beautifully in my manual dobs. The first time I looked at M42 through it, I saw it as a vibrant green. It was 50 shades of grey through my €39 GSO 15mm ep

It's a top performer in a remarkably compact form factor.

Just wondering if a T6 13mm or a Delite 11mm (or a Delos 12mm) might be the next gap filler to go for. Hope you get some clear skies over Xmas to give your new EP a road test.
