What's going on your Christmas astro-list?

So assuming we've all been good boys and girls, what astro-related stuff will find its way onto your list for Father Christmas this year? All ideas welcomed, in a variety of price brackets!

On mine:

A pair of AstroGloves (a bit of a challenge to justify the premium over thinsulate fingerless, but the write-ups seem very good)

The Cambridge Double Star Atlas re-release

I just need to make sure I behave in the closing weeks of the year. Bit of a challenge that, the the incentive is there!!

Have fun with your new toy Charl.

Mrs T' still "reminds" me of the Christmas eve I spent imaging with my new toys instead of watching rubbish on TV, such a long memory she's got, was hoping it would fade with advancing old age

I will hopefully get my usual day -a -page diary for astro use. Be interesting to see if I can make a few more entries than last year.

That's a good idea, Jason. I guess that helps encourage you to record something every day, even if it's just "lovely sunrise this morning" or "clouds again"...

Nothing astro this year although some nice warm clothes "cough" for walking the dog "cough" would go down a treat :)

If any rich members want to send me back to Oz for a couple of weeks to have Christmas with my mum, I'd be ok with that too. ;)

It's nearly Xmas already?

Dear Father Christmas,

As I've consistently eaten all of my Brussels sprouts and washed behind my ears I think a 10mm Delos would be a nice Christmas present (for me not you). I won't be too disappointed if I don't receive one, but bear in mind, I know where you live and we wouldn't want anything to happen to any of the reindeer would we?

Yours Festivally, Mak the Night

So, I print this to hard copy and toss it up the chimney ... right?

This is my first X-Mas since I got into the hobby several years ago with nothing astro on the pressie wish list!

If Santa was feeling generous, I'd take a Daystar Calcium Quark for solar imaging (and maybe observing if my eyes can see the low wavelength). Some colour filters to try imaging the moon in colour might be fun (I have a mono camera).
