Jupiter GRS Oct 25th ASI224MC

Cloud tried its best to spoil my early morning foray but just sneaked in 5 mins of hazy shots before sunrise! Daylight made focusing very difficult with so little contrast caused by the bright sky.

Had gain higher (260) for these and there was some noise with fps over 120.

No time to try the IR filters.

Auto Dob & ASI224MC + 3x tv.

Thanks again guys! It is remarkable to be getting shutter speeds you would normally associate with a mono cam. I was a bit depressed to realise that Mars will only be 16 degrees alt at opposition as I'd thought it was mid 20s this time so it looks like Jupiter is the one and only reasonable planetary target!

You got more through mist than I sometimes get with no fog or mist what so ever... Wait and see what kind of crazy detail you'll capture on Jupiter when it's closer to opposition.

Nice one Stuart and lots of detail given the still low elevation and haze - looking forward to seeing what these cams can do in better conditions closer to opposition.   Should be a very good Jupiter season
