I've got 2 Planetary images and now I'm ready for going deeper and fainter, what is the opinion on the spc900VGA ? I've got an old Pictor 216xt mono tec but, I'm getting frustrated trying to get my focus perfect so I can scribe the FT, I guess I'm trying to seek imediate gratification after a week of rain. Anyways my CNA is ready to purchase. So what's your opinion?

I can't find this exact model in the US - where Step is - but there are newer ones. And Philips also has adapters out there to fit them into a 1.25" eyepiece-drawtube. So I imagine the later models are still being used for video-astro. Heck - I've still got an old Toucam from 2003-ish. Philips' must have figured out what we're doing with them. Surprised they haven't written "ASTRO" on some and raised the price to $1,000!:D
