What am I seeing - Near Andromeda

Hello all,

Been observing for the past hour an object. Using an 18" reflector ALT/AZ mount. It is about 2 - 2.5 degrees left of Andromeda galaxy - that is in the direction of the double cluster. Just have to move the scope left, no up or down action required. Kind of a fuzzy object but it appears to be moving? Appears to fade then appear. Can't see anything obvious in Stellarium. Is there a comet about?

Could it be M32 or M110? Or is it farther away from M31 than that?

It is not the galaxies - these are in the same FOV as the eyepiece. It is further away than these. Like I said between 2 to 2.5 degrees. It has definitely moved since I have posted this.

NGC 317 is 3 degrees from M31, but that has magnitude 16.

Not reflection and quiet bright. Can still see it after looking at phone screen.

I've got my 12" dob on the Andromeda area at the moment.

Still about the same area as before and moving away from group if stars in my sketch.

Centre Andromeda then scroll slowly left. You should hit it

I hesitate to suggest an errant cloud?

Definitely not. Been there too long and same shape.

I've had a good look 2-4 degrees either side of M31 (ie: slong it's long axis) and especially to the left but nothing untoward so far.

I'll try some more.

Got faintish triangle of stars with large line of stars to right ten to left is a couple of brighter stars and the object.

I am confused by the movement mainly.

One thing in that general area is the ghost of Mirach.
