First light with the AT72ED - Still experimenting with H-alpha, not entirely confident in my application of it, but I think my image holds water with a quick search of the nebula

NGC7000, the North America Nebula

Modified Canon T3i

24x 300 seconds @ ISO800 (RGB)

18x 600 seconds @ ISO800 (12mm Astronomik H-alpha clip in filter)

thanks all!

This is looking really promising - You have used the Ha well, I'd just be looking at reducing those blue halo's a little as they are a little distracting. Well done   :)

are you looking at the star on the right? I might have boosted the blues too much trying to keep some color other than red in the nebula itself... thanks for the comment!
