Just The Moon

Woke up this morning to a clear sky - yes clear sky, after a mad rush around setting up, the sunrise pretty much beat me to it but managed to have a first proper go at taking a few snaps of the moon in fairly light conditions - am quite happy with this one!

Very nice indeed!  Great contrast for daytime shot.  I did the same thing one day: saw the daytime moon and grabbed the scope and camera.  I'm gonna try again when conditions are better.

Really nice Steve - I think the blue twilight background adds something to the image. Definitely doesn't look like a rush job to my eyes.

Thanks all, there was just a little bit of tweeking in lightroom to get the contrast - and just noticed it's the wrong way round! Ah well.
