Good wide field long focal length ep?

I have my trusty Skywatcher 38mm Panaview which has served me well and has been used a lot - especially when first setting up or looking for a target (scopes as below). I would like to upgrade to something slightly better with the same sort of focal length but without paying more than say around £200. Any recommendations from experience?

Or if you wanted to stick to around 70deg Kerry  - these are spectacular - the 40 is heavy though.  I think they are reviewed in current Sky at Night Magazine.

There're a number of options to upgrade with about the same focal length:

1. Light weight(some 520gram, lighter than 38mm Panaview). ES 34mm 68°

I'd personally look no further than the 30mm Explore Scientific 82° mentioned above, it's a brilliant eyepiece that would take more than double your budget to (arguably) better.

Thanks for all your advice. I've decided go for the FLO special before it goes. Not quite the focal length that I wanted but I'm thinking that it will supplement the Panaview rather than replace it.

Looks as though you have decided, so good luck.I was going to +1 for the ES 34mm 68. Had this out with a friend the other night looking at the double cluster and it was mesmerising. I have a few ES and Maxvision EPs and the 34mm is my favourite, just a superb unit.

I had the Meade 34 version a while back Dave, but favour much more compact setups now.  The Max/ ES widefields have revolutionised the quality available at a reasonable price though.

I think you have made a good choice, I was going to suggest the same as Moonshane or the 34mm 68 degree offering from either ExSc or Meade/Maxvision, same elements in all.

I think the seller is trustworthy. I have bought his T6 13mm Nagler and should receive it very soon..(confirmation of posting received from French Post Office and I had good Email correspondence with the seller).
