libraryman
Given the change coming in the weather, I tried to capture some 0111 & Sulphur sub's last night 3nmMy target was the Heart nebula, the 0111 I captured before the moon came up but the Sulphur had the 70% moon about 50 degs away! The signal looks very faint, my question is: will I get away with the 70% moon on the Sulphur?I have not run these filters before, Ha yes but not 0111 or Sulphur!Ray
ChrisLX200
Stay with Ha when the Moon's about (>50% or even less if the transparency is poor). You can of course collect data on brighter objects but the faintest parts will likely be swamped by sky glow, there is no general rule that applies to all because all objects vary in the amount of signal in each narrow band channel.
