Frustrating Milky Way

Frustrating night, tonight. 21 x 1.1/2 minutes of Milky Way but will DSS stack them, nooooo!!! Tried 5 times at different settings but bottom half of stack comes out distorted.

Anyway here is a single frame, better than nothing.

Is the stack coming out odd because of the black thing bottom right? It is aligning the stars but the black thing isn't static between subs so introduces some artefact?

Thanks. That's possible but normally the "static" elements (trees) just end up as a blurr whilst the stars are stacked.

Hope you get some good clear skies, 10mm should give you some great shots.
