2" to 1.25" adapters

hey again everyone i have my 130p-ds coming today was just wondering what you guys think about getting a new 2" to 1.25" adapter and which would you choose i like this one http://www.firstlightoptics.com/adapters/howie-glatter-parallizer.htmlbut just needed to know if they are worth getting to centre the eyepieces properly.

Hi Neil, I don't know about that one at FLO but I use the Orion Centering Adaptor which I find very good as in this: http://www.telescopehouse.com/acatalog/Orion_Precision_Eyepiece_Centering_Adaptor__2513.html Unfortunately TH are sold out but a number of places sell them, I got mine on Ebay.

I have one of these, they work with 3 rollers that tighten as the locking lever is moved, so i would there self centering, they are very quick when it comes to changing EP's and very secure when in the locked position....

thanks for the reply robin i was actually looking at that one as well because all the others are black and the orion is silver top which looks better

i am going to get one because i dont trust the one that came with my 130p-ds there is only a 10mm sleeve to fit in the focuser which does not inspire confidence when pointing the scope up as i could imagine me buying a nice heavy ultra wide ep pointing at zenith then it just falls out

I use one of these and it is great - a very secure grip and dead easy to open and close to change EPs.
