obsy and pier project has begun

Finally getting somewhere.

The pier is ready to pick up but it was to heavy for me.

Gotta be done by the end of september before any snow shows up. Wish me good luck

Is that 1200mm from ground surface to the top or will part of that be burried?

I ask because EDF will hopefully be cutting down an electricity pole for me to use as a basis for my obsy in the next few weeks and I need to get the height right.

The foot will be about 5 cm below the surface of the floor so it will stand about 115 above. Whether that's right or wrong, I don't know but when standing there it feels like the right hight.

The pipe is about 25 cm in diameter. 10mm thick steel. Very serious pipe, rock solid.

Closing in. Haven't fastened the pier yet. Thant,  some painting and some floor to lay and I'm ready to go!
