Hi all!

Just joined the forum after many visits as a guest.

I started stargazing about 2 years ago and recently took the plunge in astrophotography.

My equipment consists of the bare minimum for this:

SkyWatcher Explorer 150P on an EQ3-2 GoTo mount.

Pentax K20D camera (hacked to get rid of the long exposure noise reduction)

No guiding equipment as yet ...

After a few mandatory shots of Jupiter, I feel myself more and more drawn to Deep sky imaging.

My most recent victory: a glimpse of NGC4125 during a full moon. I hope to shoot this target soon in better conditions.

Daytime I'm a science teacher at a middle school.
