Thanks Frank, I'm quite pleased the way it worked out. I guess it's a fair way south, is -49deg very low in the sky for you in Brazil?

Cheers

Mike

i checked it in stellarium and it is visible from here.

a good target to place in the to-do list.

Nice image. Sometimes referred to as "Fighting Dragons". You have to look carefully but once you see them they are obvious.

Thanks. I'm glad it has a name. I can see one I think - its head just left of centre and looking to the left. I'll have to keep looking.

Very nice indeed. Didn't spot this one last time I was downunder, but I think it was ill placed at the time.

Thanks Michael. I'm still quite new to astronomy so I did not know about this one until I came accross it in Sky Safari as I was looking to see what might be near to overhead during my next session.

Cheers

Great image. It is always nice to see something new that is not on view in our Northern skies.

You have so many wonderful object way up there at the top of the world so it's good to be able to show off one of ours now and then.

Cheers

Mike
