First image of the Western Veil;

First time using dithering;

First time (of "proper imaging") without darks.

First time with Pixinsight...

First time that I'm really happy with the result. I am still at the beginning of my journey, but at least I don't feel ilke I'm swimming against the tide any more!

12 * 420 second subs at 800 ISO.

50 bias.

40 flats.

Still rather noisy, but this would undoubtedly improve with more subs

There's a lot going on in the sky round there. With hindsight, maybe it was not the easiest target to cut my milk-teeth on with Pixinsight... lol.

The dithering worked a treat though.
