Genuine Meteorite found at the Astronomy Centre!!!

A genuine meteorite has been found at the Astronomy Centre. How do we know it is genuine?. Unfortunately it is wrapped in a polythene bag labeled " Common Chondrite". One of our members brought along his meteorite collection to show us, he must have dropped it on his way to the car when leaving after dark. Possibly the shortest meteorite "fall" in history.
