The Sun - 4th Aug 2015

Despite forecasts of clear skies until 09:00 this morning, my session was quickly curtailed by clouds   Ended up getting just half an hour so these were shot rather hurriedly in what were very poor seeing conditions.

No sun from me this morning, horse riding instead, just got back and having brekkie, but the sun is too high now, might try later in the day.

I was quite surprised how well the CaK disk came out as the seeing was pretty awful by that point and the source data had intermittent cloud in as well.

No sign of the AR yet that gave the CME yesterday, perhaps some beginnings of plage in the CaK shot, nice work :)
