Pete that is an interesting sequence showing the phase evolution of Venus. I notice that your last photo was taken this morning. With the Sun being well above the horizon at 9.44 UT how did you find Venus? - Goto or Setting Circles or its Alt Az position using a compass?

They're all daylight shots Mark. I use setting circles to locate the planet, offsetting from the Sun.
