The Sun from 3/8/15

Hi,

Well today's the day it all went wrong, not sure how it has happened but the flat field has gone badly wrong on my 12 pane mosaic.  I could probably go back to the originals, crop them a bit more to get rid of the dark patch and hope there is enough overlap, but there again, I could just try again tomorrow and get it right first time.

To console myself with the disappointment and to provide you with something worthy of looking at there are two nice close ups and a K-line, both taken without the failed flat.

Happened loads to me as well but you still produced a very nice detailed disc there Robin....nice.

My flats failed at the weekend too and I didn't understand it, maybe the Sun was playing games. These are some super fine images despite the problems :)
