August 1, 2015, 7:45 at Loch Ness: Start of lift-off?

Woke up to brilliant sunshine on our last day at Loch Ness. I rushed the scope out and just gasped at the sight of the HUGE prom on the eastern limb. It looks like a Dragon rearing up, and I would not be surprised if it is the start of a lift-off. The seeing allowed high magnification, so I could see lovely detail within it.

Well worth having a look at.

I am now not sure it is lifting off, but it is very dynamic. It first reared up and later turned into a more sigmoid shape. A real monster indeed

Just about see the Sun through high cloud (forecast said clear all day) wil try and keep an eye on it, looks like it might develop
