We are happy to announce the East Lincolnshire Astronomy Club has joined the federation of astronomical societies, we look froward to being an active member of FAS.

Camp Persied 2015 will be held at the Manor Farm Campsite Anderby Lincolnshire from August 11th -15th We have an allocated area of the site reserved for our members and guests the site owners have also agreed to turn the site lights off and given us use of the surrounding land so we can observe the persied meteor shower. Its only a forecast, they haven't opened the windows yet to look out and check

We are a hardy hopefull lot dom we will be there whatever the weather, it's usually wrong for the lincs coast anyway. .

Looking forward to this. We have had good displays for the 2 years before last year. Last year was a no go due to the full Moon. This year again there will be no Moon so we are hopeful of a good show.
