video: Pluto in Sgr 2006-2015 inc = NewHorizons traveltime

Here's a video clip

of my Pluto images from 2006 to 2015 inclusive - only 2009 is missing as I got the wrong field! Used my 12" Meade SCT mostly but also a piggybacked Meade 70mm f/5 ETX-70 frac and DIY 100mm f/5 lensless Schmidt astrograph on a couple of summers.

To my recent surprise this period matches New Horizons launch to Pluto flyby ;-)

Dave - last time I saw Pluto [through a 10" scope] was decades ago when I opened up the club obsy.  Pluto 'vanished' when the first arrivals called out across the field  and it never returned that evening.  Pluto needs a lot of concentration and virtually impossible to see with a crowd    Now it's a snap with my backyard scope
