But please, cut the 'hot and high up' stuff, it's been raining constantly for days, I even put the central heating on on Sunday and even the heated seat in the car to work this morning. I'm depressed.

Thanks guys. I see it has been raining a bit at home, my rain gauge is exhausted due to over work and wants to come away with me next time. The hailstones we had a couple of weeks ago (as big as golf balls) snapped one of the cups off my anemometer so perhaps my weather station is due a bit of tlc.

I realise it has been cloudy and wet in the UK for the last couple of days but someone with a 'hot car seat' was out having a BBQ at the weekend and what can you really expect tempting fate like that?
