What happens next??

You may have reached the "Dob Horizon". Past a certain aperture an insatiable thirst for more inches will set in and a succession of larger and larger Dobs will follow until. One night you will fall into the gaping maw of you monster Dob never to be seen again.......

That how I would like to go.

Generally a big Dob leads to some serious eyepieces and some unforgettable views (star parties are a pretty good substitute for the majority of us who are not lucky enough to own one of these marvellous machines).

Enjoy the beast.

There is a theory that rather than perish, you exit through the eyepiece as a string of photons, only to reappear from the objective of a microscope
