Grrr, clouds!

Recommended Posts

OK, got my first scope which, considering i've always had an interest in cosmology, took way too long considering i'm nearly 50. Had it two weeks, most of which has been spent researching, which in itself is fascinating (i'm a bit worried i'm becoming OCD though). However it's been two weeks now, and apart from a few days where i was away i've only had a few nights where the weather allowed any useful viewing. Is this par for the course, or have I been unlucky?

Par for the course I'm afraid. It's a pretty frustrating hobby in that respect. You might get a run of a couple or 3 nights then nothing for ages. A couple of decent nights in a fortnight is not bad going.
