Close up 6th July

Taken at about 3.30 in a 30 min gap between clouds that appeared from nowhere!! Best of the 4 captures I managed in the time. Have calmed down the processing even further than my last efforts which I think has helped.

Also have one of another AR which I will process later and see how that looks.

Oh, time travel is quite good but my best trick is going to the far side of the sun to take pics from there!!!!. Thanks for spotting my error and changing the title.

This is a different AR taken immediately before that first image.

All captured with the quark on a 120 with ASI120m s, 100 stacked from ~1800 in AS!2 with defocus flats, processed in imppg and PS.

I think my change in processing (thanks to Alexandra's comments) has improved things. I hadn't changed the processing even though I had changed scopes and it was a bit too bold for the higher resolution.
