My solar set up

I can now observe in both Ha and white light.

I finally got all the bits and pieces together so that I can use my PST on the Vixen Porta II mount where the eye piece is always in a good position for looking through, and my Lunt Herschel wedge on the AA Star Wave ED70 mounted on a newly aquired Sky Watcher Star Adventurer.

I will make more comment in the Star Adventurer kit in the equipment section, suffice to say it is superb and even on a rough compass and level alignment kept the Sun in the ep for 2 hours.

Below some pics of the set up and some images I took on the 4th of the rather nice prominence, sorry about the image quality I am just getting used to the focusing and tuning needs of the PST.

The white light viewing was in its way just as stunning the Lunt wedge is a very nice piece of kit.
