After heavy rain and flowing cloud, the sky cleared to show a stunning Summer Triangle. A hefty list led me into Cygnus and ended with the "Garnet star" in Cepheus.

Starting with HJ 1470 , this showed the fov to include the "Fairy ring" asterism.Lovely low power fov ,giving two "rings".

Bu 433 gave a straight through triple at x150.

16 Cygni gave a thrilling view with the planetary nebula NGC 6826 one degree away. This was followed by wide views of

S 726, a fov provider a ghostly arrow to this 29" split.

S 786 with Σ 2789 , widely contrasting.

ΟΣ 447 with another lovely pair in the fov.

I had hoped to finish with 75,76,77,79 Cygni and Bu 688, buy a razor sharp waning Moon provided a pleasant but bright attraction.

Decidely a bit chillier and darker , this early morning provided some memorable targets.

I found this excellent resource with superb details,
