Venus - March to July 2015

So since March I have been trying to get an image of Venus each month to show the changing size and phase.

My current results are shown below. To be honest, the image I got last night wasn't the best and I suspect I am going to begin to struggle getting much better as I had to set up in my upstairs bedroom with an open window to even get what I did get :-)

I sympathise with you re setting up upstairs (still a nice image tho, and a great series :) )...Venus is lost to me now if I'm in my backyard, so it's either upstairs through doubleglazing (ouch) or a bike ride to wider pastures with the grab n go. Has to be the latter - Venus is just too lovely to consign to the 'oh well...' bin.

Great images! I wanted to do something like this, but was too busy with exams (AS-Levels) around the half-phase, so I couldn't complete it. It may be worth doing imaging during the day, as it gets a bit too low down for night time - it's quite possible to get some images of it in the bright skies, if you can find it. The seeing also tends to be better too, as it is higher up in the south.

Cheers for the comments guys.

Maybe I should make an attempt during the day although I am not sure I am skilled enough to find it in the light sky :-)
