Lakeside focuser

I have used this succesfully manually but would like to connect the controller to my laptop to use with APT.

How do i do that?

I have the older version with RS232- you may have the us but version. I use a usb-RS232 adapter then assign a comm port. You need to go on the lakeside astro website and grab the ASCOM driver and FocusMax (free version). Get it running with focus mask and then see if you can select Focus Max Hub as an ASCOM device in APT.

I don't use APT but this workflow works for several other packages I do use.
