Solar addiction is terrible, I couldn't help it, I just had to have one, the hubby grumbled but a begging wife is like a dripping tap

Honestly, I expected nothing and I was totally amazed and surprised. I popped it in and it just worked, I am very very pleased to resolve penumbral filaments at last. Today the Sun was teasing by only coming out a minute at a time and seeing was poor so I was over the moon with this 4 pane mosaic with the full chip Grasshopper 3.

I think I will stick to the Solarscope for full discs and proms as there is more disc showing and light available and lower bandwidth. But the Quark is great for hires (using the 135mm). The proms are there but I was down to 4 fps which is bad, with the Solarscope DS I am at 40 fps.

I must say I like it  though :)

My mind is made up. Next Spring............i'm getting myself a Quark. I love my Hershel Wedge............but it fails in comparison.

Of course it will. The Herschal Wedge is White Light, the Quark is Ha.

That's a fantastic image Alexandra.

Resist, resist, resist, oh hang on too late, oh well just enjoy.  Cracking image Alexandra.  I just received my second Quark, the first one went back three times, but the second is a good one, albeit a small problem with the tuning, but I still prefer my Lunt.

Great choice Alexandra you will love it, AR12381 is looking good at the moment for an anim ☺

It's threatening to go M-Class as well.

Welcome to the Quark side !!!

All we need now is Olly to make his mind up & get one
