2nd Quark, 1st light

Hi,

My second Quark in 12 months arrived on Wednesday, just in time for the worst thunderstorm I have ever seen.  The forecast for the weekend is not too clever either, so thought I would have a quick go this morning.

WO ZS80, Quark, 0.5x FR, ASI120MM

There is a lot more detail visible and the field is more even than my last Quark so pleased for a first test.

Looks a very promising first light to me, Robin. Plenty of detail. Looks to me like it will run rings round Quark 1, hope it lives up to this early promise.

Flat frame as well Robin ?

You have to be very pleased with that one now, when you get a Quark on band the detail it can 'see' is astounding, each user really needs to at least test the tuner settings to find his/her optimal position.

A few minutes wait for a click is nothing compared to good or mediocre images, well worth doing.
