An increasing number of FLO customers live outside the UK so we have made some changes :smile:
  • FLO now delivers to the majority of EU countries plus Norway and Switzerland. 
  • Our international delivery charges have been reduced (thank-you DHL)
  • The cost of delivery is calculated automatically in the shopping basket (no need to refer to a list or table)
  • Prices can be displayed in £ or € 

Please note: Most of our products are available for delivery overseas but there are some restricted items that we are unable to ship outside of the UK. Please contact us for details if you find you cannot select your delivery location.

Thankfully I've generally found the UK astro retailers willing and able to send to Spain...... Although sometimes the costs can be a little eye watering.

We have always been willing and able but we can now reduce the cost of delivery (economies of scale) make it easier to order (grown-up IT) and handle the additional business (more staff and a new larger premises).

BTW, you probably mean "any EU country plus Norway, Switzerland, and Iceland", as Sweden is within the EU, whereas Switzerland isn't, and is indicated in blue on the map

I don't suppose your new your new delivery charges are affected inside the UK? The charges to Highland postcodes can be a bit steep. I understand it is the couriers and not FLO who set the prices though.

What about Australia??

Unfortunately in the past our deliveries to Australia had a tendency to go missing enroute. We have no idea why but we have changed couriers in the hope the situation will improve, if it does we will add Australia to the list. Meanwhile if you email us your requirements we will do our best to help :smile:

The good news is you now do all of the British Isles for a reasonable charge, things are looking up !

We have been able to lower our delivery charges to many of the UK's more remote locations. I am posting from home so don't have all the details but I know anyone near Inverness, for starters, will notice a difference and we've dropped prices fairly dramatically for deliveries to Orkney and the Shetland Islands. The biggest winners though will be our Northern Ireland customers who are now charged the same as the rest of the UK, Isle of Wight too. 

None of this would have been possible without you. Seriously, it is your support that has enabled us to grow large enough to achieve these savings   :icon_salut:

Damn it. I ordered last week to northern ireland and had to pay the old rate. And it has shipped yet due to the skywatcher suppliers stock take.

oh well.

Just a quick note for our customers living outside the UK: 

Most items listed at our website can be delivered to most EU countries, also Norway and Switzerland. 

The cost of delivery is calculated automatically in the shopping basket (no need to refer to a list or table). 

Prices at our website can be displayed in £ or € (click on the yellow £ € button, top-right corner). 

Euro prices are based on the £-€ exchange rate so might change day-to-day.

Depending on your payment provider, the Euro price shown on your card statement might be slightly more or less than the price displayed on our website. 

Where applicable prices include VAT at the current rate.

Hmm, a timely boost to this thread as I hadn't seen it, and with the previous policy of not shipping to the EU, I never even bothered to check your website.

Now I will! :)

But with exchange rates as they are right now, UK prices are at an all time high when converting Euros to Sterling. :(
