Jupiter-Venus-Conjunction

Hi all,

yesterday evening, Jupiter and Venus appeared so close together that they matched into the FOV of my 5" MAK. Here's my sketch of it:

Telescope: Celestron Nexstar 127 SLT

Eyepiece: Maxvision 24mm/68°

Date&Time: Jun 30, 2015 / 2200-2230 CEST

Location: Home terrace, Dusseldorf Region, Germany

Technique: Pencil sketch in observation logbook, inverted at PC

Hi, yes it was a lovely sight to see. I managed to get my Vixen binoculars onto the drive to view the two planets at x48.
