i am trying to go in more rather than wider if that makes sense

i like to see as much detail as possible.

any way added more data to the pelican.

I've been planning to try to capture it for a while and your image inspired me to try last night .. let's just say I got nothing useful datawise apart from in red and Ha and that didn't show up the jets at all.  Just to get a feel of what spectra the area produces I tried one of each Ha, OIII, SII , R , G, and B.  I'll have to try again in week or 10 days when the moon isn't such a pain and I can take the image times to something longer than 300s.   I will get a decent capture of that area ... in the meantime, I'll admire your efforts :)

your best bet till the sky gets darker is to just get HA then when the moon has gone get the OIII and S2 and RGB. i still want to get more data in HA

Looks great - Lovely colours. I think if the framing had been a little better then this would have made quite a difference. It feels too low in the frame for me.

i managed to get another 3 hours of HA last night and i took your advice about framing as well i think it looks a lot different with the framing and more data but i will still add more to it.

Just to put the cat among the pigeons - Sara raises a good point with regards to framing but on my instant/ionitial view skipped that and assessed what was there - some nice detail in the now cropped out area with the darker areas - maybe as an alternative version making them a little more eye grabbing would also work.  At the moment they are just kinda there, if made into a stronger feature, subject to the data allowing, the original would work.

The crop also excludes the bubble looking nebulosity to the left - its borderline if there is enough to stay in the shot but looks good if it can.

Overall nice work - well done.
