First try at DSO with video

Thought I'd learn how to do this. Sorry, I know it's a real mess. I used FC stacked 280 frames in DSS with master dark from 280 frames. Saved as tiff. FC shed exposure around 300 ms, but 2 fps. I only did it this way because I don't like Registax and ASI even less. So, how bad is it?

Looks like it's out of focus a bit, and your tracking is a bit off? I would drift align mount and try a 30, 45 and 60 second exposure and see how it does. If you can only go 30 seconds and get round stars, then take several 30 second exposures and stack them. If you can go longer, than go longer. I think you will get better results?

I hurried this together just as a trial. Agreed PA was way off. Focus off too, I suspect, but haven't figured out a way within my current equipment, to get it better. Single speed focus and no mask. I usually use a DSLR and focus with FWHM, but that's not available without BYN. Not looking to spend any money on it right now.

Not sure about the tracking, stars look round in the subs, so DSS may have missed the alignment a little trying to stack so many subs.

Actually, I was hoping for help getting rid of the banding. I used darks, but it's still there. Used DBE in PI also.
