AZ-EQ6 Saddle - fit to HEQ5?

The AZ-EQ6 mount comes with 2 saddles, for dual scope use in Altaz mode.

I won't use this mode very much, if at all, so I'd like to fit the spare saddle to my HEQ5, for vixen / losmandy dovetails.

Is this possible, as I've not managed to find much on the web?

Yes, I could spend £120 on an ADM dual Vixen / Losmandy saddle, but there's little point if I can use something that's currently sat in a box.

Without pulling thngs apart, I thought it best to ask first, to see who else has tried this successfully or otherwise.

I fitted a ADM saddle from my old HEQ5 to the AZEQ6 but I had to get a new puck so the fitting is different between the HEQ5 and AZEQ6

As I have other things apart anyway I may as well see if I can make it fit...!
