130P No more neck ache

well i decided enough was enough with neck ache from the positions you need to get into to use the red dot finder on my 130p so i have fitted a skywatcher 9x50 RA erecting finderscope.was actually quite an easy job.i took the primary mirror out and drilled a couple of holes for the finder shoe screwed it on thats it  :)

Thanks for the post, I think I may go down this route at some point.

I've not seen a Heritage 130P with the extra tube at the front, is it removable and does it make a difference?

Oh and is it DIY?

hi the light shield is removable but i have it secured so no need to remove it.it slides in and out with the top section.and yes it makes a difference slightly more contrast(sky darker)than without which in a lightpoluted area is always welcome :)
