I've had only glimpses of the craters on the moon so far. The forecast for tonight is very good, after the clouds hovering above me clear. I reckon it's taken about 30 minutes for the clouds to move a mile, itching to take the scope out.

I start by saying hello & welcome to SGL.  i would have the scope out side ready  that give it time to cool down . Hope you have a nice night looking at the Moon trying to rember all you see the next day is not so easy , so take notes. or photos .

I hope you are enjoying the clear sky we're having...hope it's the same where you are.

Sadly, no observing for me tonight ( leaving do for a beloved colleague, nuff said...) apart from pure naked-eye...Saturn rising in the South, the clarity of the Moon, and Jupiter sinking in the Northwest...

All these moments in time....what a privilege eh?

Steve
