Celestron Barlow questions

I have a celestron barlow and am wondering if it is possible to afix a filter directly to the barlow rather than taking it off one eyepiece to another

it is the barlow that comes in the Astromaster Starter kit

Does the barlow have a filter thread cut into it's nosepiece, just in front of the lens ?

If it does then you should be able to put a filter there and use it with any eyepieces placed in the barlow.

unfortunatly it does not. it goes right to the lens,  i guess a higher quility barlow would be in order
