First light with my new Tele Vue-85 and found Saturn then lost 2 hours

I acquired my new scope from Stuart - pleasure to do business with - as a grab and go. I decided to put it on my evolution mount as I couldn't resist and the weather was nice and clear last night - surely a sign that my purchase was a wise one

Nice write up, great to hear the reknowned scope is meeting expectations. Saturn can be a bit absorbing, I'm yet to see it this year.

Well done, Saturn is always worth making an effort for as you know. People shouldn't be put off by the low altitude, and potentially poor seeing. Even in the worst seeing there can be brief episodes (sometimes only a few seconds) which can make it worthwhile.
