Surely it's say a 32 pane mosaic each of a 1000 frame video.

I only saw this last night. Amazed at the detail. Did not know that it had been on other forums, but thought it very interesting.The bit I read just said that he had taken 32000 shots over a half hour period then processed them over a six hours into a finished mosaic of the moon, 73.5 giabytes. Contained in 16 panes I believe.

More journalistic over-egging and falseties ... 

Don't get me wrong it's a great image , but I've seen a lot more detail on SGL before without all the hyperbole and trumpet blowing ...
