It should come from SX and ask you if you want to download / install Maxim plug in, not sure if it might come already installed by Maxim as some are.

Does it show up like this ?

Once you select your camera model and click OK you should be able to click the connect  button in the camera control window to connect it, needs the camera plugged in and powered up.

You shouldn't have to do anything with the other boxes in the setup window the com port is for the SX adaptive optics so needs nothing in it.

So you should have downloaded zipped drivers and unzipped them to a new folder on C:/ then plugged in camera and the "found new hardware" thing should pop up and ask for the driver location and be pointed at the new folder and report success or failure.

Did you do this OK ?

Definitely no driver installed, could try the next row down drivers but it's probably some Windows permissions Rubbish stopping it registering, presume your'e administrator ?

Never going to work in Maxim until you sort this bit and get device manager to recognise it.

Dave

Unistall the other drivers first in program uninstall. when you installed them did you get the install driver wizard thingy come up ?
