problem with downloading deep sky stacker 3.3.4

Hi folks

I have a laptop running 3.3.4 which I downloaded some months ago.

I have taken delivery of a more powerful used desktop and for the life of me I can't get DSS 3.3.4 to download. I think I have followed the instruction, going to the site http://deepskystacker.free.fr/english/index.htmland clicking on the 3.3.4 version download.

However, no matter how many times I go through this process it downloads version 3.3.2, which when it is opened says in red letters across the top of the page than version 3.3.4 is available to download.

Not sure how I got 3.3.4 loaded to the laptop.

Advice would be welcome as this is doing my head in!!! 

I have 7-Zip downloaded on the machine.

That's where I am trying to get it from. However it appears to download but when I open it it is always version 3.3.2.

Very odd, anyone else had this problem and has a solution?

Do you still have the laptop to try and download on that then copy over to desktop?

Had a fiddle around. Great idea on your part and as I found, simply by copying on a memory stick and transferring over it works
